Kyana is an illustrator and designer with professional experience in character and prop design for animation, including work with Nickelodeon and the toy company Joyin. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media Art & Animation from the Art Institute of Phoenix and brings a multidisciplinary background that spans animation development, toy design, and costume design.

 

Her work is rooted in strong character appeal, clear storytelling, and an understanding of how designs translate into 3D animation and real-world products.

Outside of client and studio work, Kyana is passionate about working with Phoenix nonprofit collective thems. to run Sip n' Scribble, which is a local event aimed at bringing queer AZ community together through collaborative art projects. As a hobby she enjoys computer games, reading, and watching horror movies. In her free time, she creates videos sharing her own art and encouraging other artists to stay inspired, curious, and consistent in their practice!
